Clothing shopping for Kindergarten?

My daughter is starting Kindergarten in a month and we're really excited to be going shopping for school stuff for the first time. :) We buy most of her clothing from Old Navy, Gap Kids and Gymboree, and was wondering what suggestions you might have for online shopping? I am not interested in anyone item over $35, anything with sequins/glitter, characters or logos. I like simple clothing that is easy to mix and match. Thank you!

I'm sure they have lots of good mix and match items all over...the children's place has some good stuff too...the one thing to keep in mind is that your child is going to get FILTHY at school...between painting, playing outside, coloring...etc...I learned the hard way! Have fun shopping!!!
Reply:I buy almost all my clothes from Old Navy online - They have $5 shipping on any order any size. If the clothes do not work for you, you can returrn them via snail mail or go to any Old Navy store. I love the clothes and they last a really long time. ( I have a daughter starting kindergarten too)
Reply:Check LL Bean, Lands End for kids basics. The clothes are not fancy but they wear well and are very comfortable for all the playing that children do in kindergarten.
Reply:Target is adorable!!! Also, you can find some great stuff on ebay, but shipping would be a downer since you would be buying several things.
Reply:j c penney has mix and match kids clothes that are $10 ea piece, but they are having a "buy one get one for $1" sale this weekend Fri Aug 3- Sat Aug 4.
Reply:The childrens place is great for that. Good prices too on account they outgrow clothing very fast.
Reply:target very cute long lasting. good variety of young chldrens clothing! stylish
Reply:I bought alot of clothes fo my son at old navy gao etc, but I also got some clothes from a thrift store because you need lots of changes of clothes and they ruin jeans and shirts easy. Sometimes its nice to just pitch a pair of thrift store jeans that cost only 1.50 than attempt to clean them.
Reply:Check out Children's Place and Target.
Reply:Target and Old Navy are the best places I have found, like someone else said, your child will get dirty at school so I would suggest not buying anything too expensive, also keep in mind that most schools like the girls to wear shorts under dresses, so I like to buy my daughter the skirts with the shorts built in, it's much easier. Good luck.
