Girls, why do you like shopping so much?!?

I've been trying to figure this out for the past 23 years - how come you females like shopping so much?!





Take this for example: my gf went shopping the other day (alone of course) and 9 hours later she comes back with only a pair of shoes. What a waste of time! Anyway, as a guy we obviously are lazy and don't want to waste our time on such nuisances, the only time I go to shopping malls is to get food.





I walk straight into the supermarket, straight back out to the car - straight home - straight thru the front door - straight into bed.





So tell me girls, why does your kind like shopping so much?!

Reply:I don't shop for 9 hours. If I'm looking for shoes it only takes


maybe an hour or two (unless I know exactly where to find


what I'm looking for). Window shopping is fun sometimes


its looking at all the different things and finding something


you didn't know was out there.
Reply:I don't like shopping at all. When I need cloths or shoes, I pretty much know, what I am looking for and go straight for it. Maybe, while I am there, I get a few more things. I don't like to go to the grocery store either, it takes a long time to get the grocery where they belong, in your kitchen. So there, not all the girls like to go shopping.

Why do men like sports so much?





Anyways.. a real answer... girls like fashion and cant just pick something out of random. Some of us are pretty picky and just want what we think is best. Certainly not all females are like that. But it is a female thing to do. It's just psychological n all that stuff.
Reply:Lets see everyone likes money i think we can all agree on that. But shopping just to spend it one yourself is wonderful and us girls (well most of us anyways) like to pamper ourselves lots and buy what we want rather than what we need.
Reply:We like to get ideas for decorating, buy new clothes, compare prices and look for sales.


And a lot of us use it for exercise too.

Well anyway I hate shopping, it frustrates me. Just because some girls like shopping dosent me every girl does, and Im one of those girls.

Reply:Excuse me, but I'm a girl and I HATE shopping. I find it a waste of time, there are so many better things I could use my time on. I only go out to buy things when I need to, and I try to make it as quick as possible.





Please get your facts straight, and don't generalize. Just because some girls love shopping doesn't mean we all do.
Reply:i hate shopping i would rather go to the denest when and if i go I'm in and out in a half an hour at the most
Reply:well i dont like shopping tha much i get too fustrated with the people who walk slow in the shops and take up the road so i cant get past, i'd preffer to go to the beach if i had a choice

Im not sure why I love to shop so much. It's really fun and nice when I went to the mall and shop around, i really don't mind (most of time, don't realize) if hours have passed.





I like to see and tour around shops although I'm not buying much. It's just really fun. My boyfriend always accompany me doing my shopping and he just followed.

Reply:Well i can honestly say I dont know why! Ive tried going a week without it but i cant...i really really cant stop myself. I dont know why i like it i always spend all my money %26amp; i should actually be saving but i cant help myself...its like a drug to me. I bought a book for that though that helps you to stop shopping so much lol.....it hasnt helped! :P

Reply:hmm coz we like stuff. I mean clothes, makeup, shoes. I go shopping once in 6 months for clothes and stuff. Most of the times I just go to check out new things.

by shop he means take 4 ever to get something and by buy he means just get in and get out!

For some reason, women relate a certain sense of self-worth with our appearences. You know you like to be proud to show your girlfriend to your guy friends and don't want her to look like a slob. So, be glad when she shops, it means she's taking care of her appearance.


If we're feeling especially fat or ugly (which is really bad), the quick fix is shopping or getting our hair or nails done. It's much quicker than losing 10 pounds or getting fit... although we'd like to do that too, it's just a lot harder than shopping.
Reply:Obviously we love to get what we like and we took our time to get that perfect one at least. I hate wearing anything that doesn't suit my appearance so I have to find what's really looks nice to me and at the same time killing my time walking instead of sitting at home and not getting any exercise at all...lol

Reply:i love shopping..i like to try on the clothes and see if i look good in em..after 9 hrs of shopping i wud have spent a lot of money on clothes i was prob not gonna wear..6 hrs is the most ive gonna shopping for
