Vegetarian shopping list?

I'm going grocery shopping.I'm kind of need of a shopping list and maybe easy some recipes to help me get started.I was wondering could give me a complete list of Fruits, Vegetables, Nuts, and other products I need.Thanks

Vegetarian shopping list?
I'd suggest:





- Whole grain pastas (make sure it's 100% whole grain)


- Whole grain organic bread (make sure it doesn't have "corn syrup" in the ingredient's list - I highly reccomend Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain bread - it should be in the freezer section of most large-scale grocery stores like Albertson's or Whole Foods or right on the shelf at Trader Joe's)


- fresh bananas, apples, mangoes, whatever fruit you like


- fresh broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers


- onions, mushrooms, garlic


- frozen vegetable mixes - good for soup and stir-fry


- frozen fruit - good to add to smoothies or oatmeal


- a few trays of tofu


- tempeh, if available


- Almonds and walnuts


- Soy milk, almond milk or rice milk (enriched if possible)


- Spices and sauces! (Stir fry sauce, soy sauce, peanut satay sauce, all sorts of spices, it'll be useful in making food flavorful!)


- Dressings (whatever ones you like)


- Brown rice


- And, if you are not vegan, cheese, milk or eggs?








I would encourage watching http://www.theppk.com They have recipes, cooking shows online, etc. It's vegetarian cooking and it's absolutely wonderful.

Fruits and veggies are SO good for you, you should buy: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, apples and kiwi! lots of antioxidants and health benefits. some good veggies are baby spinach, squash, tomatoes, broccoli, sweet potatoes, zuchini! You can buy your veggies frozen or fresh. Also, try making fruit smoothies with fresh fruit, yogurt and OJ! If you are a vegetarian, try boca burgers original vegan, they rock.
