Hi all is shopping dirt cheap in New York as im thinking of going over im getting married and want to do all my wedding shopping there....any one recommend some places there ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANKS ALL AND HAVE A GREATDAY

Shopping isn't cheap in NYC it's cheaper in New Jersey.
Reply:No. I bought a digital camera there, believing it to be cheaper than in the UK. I had to fight off a real hard-sell for all sorts of accessories I didn't want. Very unpleasant. Then I got home and found better cameras for a similar price.
Reply:I've lived in NYC all my life and shopped nearly everywhere, so I can tell you now that barely anything here can be considered "dirt cheap," unless there is an incredible clearance OR you are shopping at thrift stores, Conway, etc. Shopping in NYC, depending on where you go, can get pretty pricey!
Reply:it depends on which shops you go into. sometimes they are the same price as what you would get in london. you just have to be a bit wise.

Reply:Yes it IS!!! Its £2 to the dollar at the moment and also there is a GREAT department store called Century 21. My husband and I had to buy two extra suitcases to bring all our stuff back. Trust me if you get your stuff from there its really cheap - its like our TK Maxx but better full of designer and label stuff at cheap prices. I would say Maces and all those places are expensive you need to know where to go. Century 21 is directly opposite ground zero. Go to NY have a great time and HAPPY SHOPPING!!!!!!
