I'm going to the cape for the 4 day weekend and I'm going shopping I need good places to shop, pretty much anywhere on the south shore including, but not limited to boston and the cape
Shopping in Boston/ Cape Cod?
Walmart %26amp; Salvation Army.
Reply:For the Cape, Hyannis is the place where most shopping is. The most popular location is the Cape Cod Mall there. Also many shops along Main St are fun. During the summer, Provincetown is the best shopping location but almost everything is shut down this time of year because it's a tourist destination.
In Boston, Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall are great, as well as the Prudential Center Mall and Newbury St. There is amazing shopping there year-round so you should have better luck in Boston than on Cape Cod. Quincy Market is filled with more tourist-oriented shops ("Boston" sweaters and T-shirts, Red Sox merchandise, Cheers), but the Pru and Newbury Street have many clothing stores if that's what you're looking for.
South Shore Plaza in Braintree is another popular place to go and it has basically everything.
Reply:Newbury St in Boston is the big boutique shopping area.
Wrentham Outlets is a great upscale outlet mall. It's off of Rt 495, heading towards the Cape
The Cape..each town has boutique style shopping in the town centers...if you can tell us what you want to shop for we could provide more info
Reply:wow our avatars look so similar it's kinda scary
anyway i live not far away from boston and i would reccommend the natick collection (idk how far away that is but its in Natick, Ma so whatever) i guess you can live in there now? idk if i would wanna live in a mall but it sounds cool so go there if you can
The copley place mall in boston is really nice, too.
I went to the prudential center in boston with my family, which was really nice, too. they call it 'New England's #1 shopping and dining destination' or something like that. here's the address:
800 Boylston St, Boston - (617) 236-3100
also this link has the ten best things to do in boston. i just found it so check it out if you want:

i dont really know much about the cape cause ive only been a few times, but have fun shopping!!
Reply:Typically hard-hit shopping districts of Boston:
Newbury Street - lined with boutiques and high-end designers
Shops at Copley Plaza - still pretty high-end stuff
Prudential - a little bit smaller, but connected to the Copley Mall
If you're on the Cape, check out if there's a ferry to Provincetown. It has very cool little shops that sell pretty jewelry and interesting clothes, but do some research first to see if it's your style...
