Is it worth a drive from Cairns to do Antique shopping in Townsville..
Many shops in or around Townsville or even on the way worth going to?
My dad is visiting soon from overseas and he just loves antiques – so want to give him an ‘Antique crawl’ …..

never been - i went to cairns once by mistake (miised brisbane flight so went to cairns as a stopover)- it was great
had great seafood and went to the reef
Reply:Oh well i wouldnt say its a shopping hot spot - but there is a few shops there with antiques.
Take him, and if there isnt much stuff - head down to Melbourne :P
