i would love to try shopping with my sister(20) me(16) but the thing is that she doesn't have a lot of money and i do so i have a strong feeling that she'll keep asking me to buy this and that for her i dont mind buying one thing and even paying for her lunch at the mall but not more than that i dont know how to make her understand that.... i want to keep my cool and have a nice time shopping i dont want to get angry and leave her. Anyone ever been in a situation like this? how did/do you deal with it?
Shopping with sister annoying??
let her know you enjoy spending time with her, but also tell her you each have your own money and you'd be glad to pay for lunch for the both of you or small things but not splurging.
Reply:If she tries to get you to buy her something just make a joke out of it. Or tell her that you need the money to buy her an extravagant birthday gift (that'll prevent her from asking you now maybe)
Reply:WOW it sounds like you really love your sister , because you are trying so hard ... from hurting her feelings so what I suggest is telling her you love her but maybe going to the mall with your friends or mom instead and tell your sister.
