Shopping alone?

What do you think when you see someone shopping alone? I really need clothes but my best friend is at work, and plus I feel like I'd get more shopping done if I just went alone. But do you think people are losers when they're alone, or am I being way too paranoid and you don't even notice? I'm a 17 year old girl, and I know most kids my age go with friends, so I'm just wondering.

I get way more done when I shop alone....and who would know, anyway??? You could be with a friend who has gone to another store.....





If you spend your life waiting for people to be available to do things with you, you miss out on alot... Go for it, and happy shopping!

Good zone out material and you are right, you get everything done so much quicker and aren't stuck with your friends telling you where to go or what to buy!
Reply:Not a big deal in my mind... I usually just go with friends because I get bored alone. I don't really care enough to notice if people are by themselves.

Reply:Yeah I feel that way sometimes too if I shop alone. But I was looking for a gift for my mom the day before her birthday and got a lot of good things. But yeah, I dont have a lot of friends. Only like a few. But not a lot. It doesn't really matter. Just go about your business and dont worry about anyone else looking at you cuz in reality they're not worried about you.

I shopped alone when I was 17 too. I am 20 and no issues! I think most of my friends shop alone because we all have such different work and school schedules.

Reply:just go. who cares! i guess thats normal for your age. but soon you'll hit a stage (depending on how fast you mature) where you'll realize that you just dont give a rats *** what other people think, and just do things. have fun!

Reply:I think your just being a little paranoid. Theres nothing wrong with going on your own, and yeah, you will get more shopping done. My friend went on her own like last year and she was 15 lol.
Reply:There's nothing wrong with that. You'll be more productive and get to find sales better and be able to go wherever you want to. It's not loserish. You might run into someone, if you need clothes do it. People do it all the time. I mean think about it, adults who are single do it all the time. I think it would be actually kind of fun to go shopping alone once in a while, you'd get to do whatever you want. I mean I like hanging out with my friends and having fun but It might be fun to go on your own and be independent once in a while. Don't care so much about what other people think. I used to and it was a hard way to go. You can go find sales and stock up on clothes.

Reply:when i see ppl shopping alone, i dont really think much of it. i dont think they r lozers, cause you never kbow WHY they r shoppong by themselves.
Reply:I like shopping alone better because sometimes ill want to leave and my friend will want to try on 20 more outfits or vise versa. when i see people shopping alone i dont really think anything of it. if you need to go you need to go. When i shop alone i always ask the people who work there for their help on choosing what looks good.

Reply:if u need things then shopping isnt about if u look like a loser....if someone sees you alone do u honestly thing theyre like "oh man shes alone, she must be a total loser", and even if they did think that, does it really matter? its not like a few peoples (who u dont even kno) opinions are gonna affect ur life in any significant way, you or they wont even be worrying or caring about it a week from now.
Reply:yeah your just being paranoid. i perfer shopping alone, because out of my two best friends...one is a male so obviously that doesnt' help, and the other is kinda self centered...so once she finds what she wants she's out the door without even looking what your up to....


It's easier because you don't have to worry about other ppls opinions, or what they are doing, etc

sometime when u alone u can think more clear.

Reply:You're being way too paranoid, honey. I'm not a teenager, but I go shopping alone all the time. If I were to see a teen girl out shopping alone, I wouldn't care one whit. There's nothing wrong with being independent. How would anyone know that you're there alone anyway? Your "friend" could be in another part of the store.
