SHOPPING ON-LINE: GOOD or BAD?

I usually can't find certain DVD's or book's in stores and have no other way of finding them. I've never tried shopping online but think I should try. But I'm worried about sending out credit card information and what not on the web. Is shopping online a safe thing to do? Site's like AMAZON.COM are they good places to go?

SHOPPING ON-LINE: GOOD or BAD?
Yes, any well-known name like Amazon or Barnes %26amp; Noble is safe. I've shopped on Amazon for years and have never had a problem.
Reply:i dont know bout shoppin online cuz ppl have a way what u give them bout u and all ur info but hey do what u wanna do ur grown lol
Reply:Absolutely.

If you get them from reputable places like Amazon.com there's no risk, it's much more convenient, and there's a massive selection.
Reply:Never a problem with Best Buy, Amazon.com and Collector's Choice.
Reply:ive used amazon for books, movies and dvds. they have never done me wrong and great fast shipping. i love it because you can even get used books or dvds for as low as a dollar, plus 1 or 2 dollars for shipping. they have great deals. their sites are secure and your info is private... u can trust it.
